I’m a Las Vegas native who grew up listening to my mom sing Patsy Cline and Aretha Franklin. Sharing Mom’s passion for singing, I signed up for Jazz Choir at the College of Southern Nevada where I eventually received my Associates degree in music. During my academic studies I also sang in chamber choirs, small group choirs, and a Taize prayer service.
“Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.”
~ Maya Angelou
After taking a break from my studies, I discovered balloon art and now work professionally making twisted balloon art and balloon decor for parties of all kinds. I’m also a strong advocate for the creative therapeutic arts including music therapy and art therapy. When I’m not singing or making balloons, I’m discovering new museums and hikes with my fiancé, David, and our rescue pup, Neo.
